New Toy Syndrome

<< -- >>

It’s the new toy syndrome.
You’re gonna drop me when I’m old.
New toy syndrome,
How could you be so cold?
Looking for someone new.
What am I to do?

New girl on the block.
The brothers did clock.
Made the other girls mad.
Got treated so bad.
There you were to comfort me when I cried.
It’s a shame that you’re gonna say good bye.

It’s the new toy syndrome.
You’re gonna drop me when I’m old.
New toy syndrome,
How could you be so cold?
Looking for someone new.
What am I to do?

Ignored the other girls.
Cause I was in the world.
Forgot that they were there.
As if you didn’t care.
I was the new toy.
All attention due.
I was the new toy.
Played by you.

It’s the new toy syndrome.
You’re gonna drop me when I’m old.
New toy syndrome,
How could you be so cold?
Looking for someone new.
What am I to do?

I was played like a new toy.
That I was dropped by you.
You went to someone new.
It’s a shame I was played by you.
